iPhone 4, stolen, but it's new.

Took my iPhone into CPW earlier on to get a value for trade in against a 4S. He typed the serial into the system, and it wouldn't pass the security check. Apparantly my phones stolen or has been reported lost before.

I paid £612 for it from Apple a few months back. He advised me to go to an Apple shop and get it all checked out.

Found it a bit strange, hopefully it's just their system playing up!

Don't do this.

Those sites state in their T&C's, if a stolen phone is received, it's kept and reported to the police. You'll get nothing back.

Check it on checkmend that's the system they all use. If its logged incorrectly then apply to them to reverse it
