I thought that message about having to be plugged in was just for full/auto sync's. Anyway, my iphone is charging now and wireless sync is working like you said.

Can you ask Siri to source me an iPhone 4S?

I walked into Vodafone saturday AM and they had stock left. 16GB Black, 32GB/64gb Black and White. I was shocked to be honest.

Think they prepared well for this launch compared to others tbh.

Hopefully they will be as good for the iPad3 release assuming that's the next big one!

Yeah they have done better considering from figures it seems the demand is greater than the iPhone 4. However they have had an extra 3 months to make stock compared to the iPhone 4 release and also it is more of a tweaked iPhone rather than a complete platform redesign like when going from 3GS to 4.

Impressed with it so far. I had a 4 last year but sold and have been using a Nexus S on android for 10 months. IOS has come a long way in a short space of time, at the time I swapped to Android because IOS at the time seemed to be not able to do what I wanted and Android could, now it can I have swapped back as the iPhone does it better!

I have investigated this some more and the iPhone is locating this data from a email someone sent me last year. They are not in my iPhone contacts so not sure why it has latched onto them when I do have a Catherine in my iPhone. I have located them within Gmail and removed.

my 4 is lasting less time on the iOS5 software than 4... used to have between 50%-80% battery left at the end of a day, its now 20%-50%

might just be using it differently, but i dont think i am...

Mine is on 39% with 7hrs 52 useage and standby.

Had an app running today though constantly (minimising data apparently, onvaro) but deleted it as felt it was draining the battery.

Should be better tomorrow now. Turned a few of the pushes i didn't want off as well now.
