Not sure what the excess is but Orange wanted £12 a month off me In the end went through my home insurance company instaed, £3 p/m and covers me and the g/f's phone for loss, damage (not water damage) etc. Excess with that is £50

That's reasonable. I've got my dad to look into our home insurance for me!

Likewise mate, but Ben wouldn't lie about the delay. If they have 90,000 to send and 90,000+ orders, it's enough to delay emails, let alone a DPD delivery. The excitement of receiving it is blurring our sense of time/what's acceptable Ben must be sick of it!!

I placed my order for the upgrade on the 11th, as I was out of the country until the 10th. At that point I was told I would be waiting up to a few weeks for the phone.

Anyhow, I've just phoned them about something else and out of interest asked for an update on my order - apparently it's being shipped tomorrow! JOY!

Im f*cked as i need a phone to suit a microsim anyway and don't have an adaptor. I would just go phoneless until it arrived lol

You can get the microsim to fit other phones.

O2 have free adapters for customers in store apparently, but I just opened my phone up and jammed the mirco sim in there. Been working fine since I sold my 4 last friday

In the box type your 'Carrier Tracking' Number off your apple order page' (ten digits beginning with 8) it then asks for 'sales order number' which is your 'additional order number' off apple order (ten digits beginning with 7).

Should give you up to date detailed tracking.

Utterly fuming with vodafone, completely incompetent shop staff.

I was informed that I could pre order in one store and pick up from another as it would come in with their pre orders, this isn't true, so instead, my phone is now being shipped to this other store as if it's a customers address. If I'd known this was going to happen, I would have either had it delivered to my house/office or just picked it up from the store I pre ordered from.

Now, instead, theres a chance I won't have the Phone til Monday and ontop of that, I have to wait for them to call me when it arrives and book and appointment to pick it up, meaning I have to try to get out of work to go get it. FFS
