iPhone in another country

A friend is moving home to Mauritius, she has an iPhone 3GS on Orange. When she goes home she will be using Orange too but not UK. Is it a simple case of switching sims as they are both on Orange?

probally not, may need to unlock the phone first before itll work properlly otherwise it could be classed as roaming on the uk sim and charge a fortune..

I don't think Orange offer the option to unlock the iPhone yet either. Best get in contact with orange I'd say.

Depends what baseband she's on I think, you can roll them back depending what week the phone was made. Chances are being on orange it'll be a late build 'i think'
