iPhone more powerful than Wii?

LOL, hard to believe, its only one developer saying it i guess but pretty mental if it is.

The iPhone is a more powerful games console than the Nintendo Wii, according to Tales Of Monkey Island developer Telltale Games.
A programmer from the studio made the comments after complaints from gamers over frame rate problems in the Wii version of the point-and-click adventure.
"Frame rate issues will probably get sorted out eventually, but keep in mind that the Wii is just not a powerful console. An iPhone is much more powerful than a Wii, even," he wrote on a forum.
Telltale's comments stirred up controversy, but the firm stood by its statement, claiming that the Wii and DS are "extremely underpowered" in later posts.

couldn't decide which section to put this but settled on games consoles in the end as thats what its about essentially.

same with the DS.

nintendo must be laughing their little asses off at how many people have actually gone out and bought these.

i dont think ive seen a game on either that ive thought, wow, that looks pretty good

Wii and DS have opened gaming up to a much wider community. Thats what they have always been about, and in my opinion, fair play to nintendo for recognising they had lost out on what was their arena originally (hard core games) and moved on to something new.
