iPhone ringtone won't play

I downloaded a ringtone from itunes store via my iphone. It displays in the ringtone list and is the default. Clicking on it doesn't play it and calling my phone results in no sound. I've restarted the phone. The other ringtones that come with the phone work fine.

Phone is 3G with 3.1.2 not jailbroken.

Any ideas?

Fixed. For some reason I had to sync it to itunes on my PC.
