iphone ringtone

Is there anyway i can select a song from my ipod/itunes to use as a ringtone,as the tones with the phone are complete toss.
I have tried looking but with no luck or is there another way to get a decent ringtone??

u can buy them throught itunes i think

me 2 but i dont think u can, if u go through itunes on the phone it comes up with ringertones

I use that mate. Pick a song you want and it will export it to the ringtones section in your itunes. Then sync them to your iphone.

I use audiko.net work very well. Select song, press download for iPhone and it opens up in iTunes

There is an easier way, just crop or something.. ill pm you when i remember or find out!

You have to crop the song to a 30 second clip, export it to an .m4a (aac) then change the file extension to .m4r

that's obviously a much watered down version of the process but google is your friend.
