iPhone text question *all models*

Had iPhones for years, but something's always bugged me...

Basically, when writing a LONG text, is there anyway to come out of the message you are writing and look at the message you're replying to again?

It does my head in and i've not worked out have to do it - if you can do it at all.

In ios 6 you used to be able to press edit on the top right and it would show you the message again. Haven't worked out how to do it on Ios 7.

I don't think so. Highlight and cut is probably the best bet.

Edit, just tried it. Hold the contact name and slide down?

I'm talking about a LONG text, you can't slide it dow - all you can see is the text box that you're writing in

I've always done this when replying with a big reply and I've never had a problem.
