iPhone won't turn on :(

My iPhone is fully charged, and it was working fine 10 minutes ago.

Its just a black screen, totally unresponsive. Tried plugging it into the computer, still nothing.

I've only had it since Jan and I haven't dropped it or anything.

Advice?

PS will I have to book an appointment for them to fix it at apple?

Try a restore. If it still doesn't respond, book a Genius appointment.

Try holding the power and the menu button for about 10 seconds.

Long shot but it fixed all the problems I've had.
