iPhone4 Mail error message

I'm trying to send an email when I get this message:

" Cannot Send Mail - No password provided for "SMTP:myemailaddress@hotmail.co.uk@smtp.live.com".

Please go to mail account settings and enter a password.

My password etc. is saved, I don't know what to do....

Do what it says. Go to mail setting and to outgoing then enter a passoword

iJust re-installed the hotmail account. All is cool.
