Just wondered if any body knows how to activate an iPhone without using iTunes?

as i understand, theyre not out here, but since some guy figured out how to unlock them from AT&T, and now other people know how, you could use one here now.

Yeah I've bought one and i'm awaiting to download the software to unlock it so I can use it as a phone but first I need to activate the bloody thing without using itunes it can be done but I just wondered if any one had done it. Think i'm just gonna flog it once i've worked it out anyway as its pretty chunky.

Have not gone one, but have used one quite a bit, I like it, but it's just not practical enough, and not easy to use in terms of texting, writting.

It's too big too.

If they update the iPhone with a larger onscreen keyboard then it wouldn't be so bad for texting, the narrow keys are terrible. Having said that, if you hold it horizontally for texting does it display the landscape keyboard in the same way as the net browser does? I didn't check that when I had a demo of one.
