Ipod ---> Car (Alpine hu)!!!

this week i want to link my ipod to my CDA-9853R headunit and be able to store it out of sight in my glovebox, in some sort of cradle to stop it sliding around!!! Could you please give me the details of which items i will need to do this.......and the roguh cost of these items....

hi mate

I have just removed my alpine to ipod interface - this is a genuine alpine interface - model number KCA-420i - it plugs straight into the back of your head unit and then you can control the ipod from the buttons on your head unit. all the writing etc comes up on your head unit display. If you want it you can have it for £30 including postage. Only 4 months old - will supply reciept.

Oh right is that what i need and then buy a seperate cradle for my glove box??? Would have to wait wed to fri for payment though, let me know if this is a problem?? PM me to let me know
