Is it illegal to...

  A Flamin' Red one
... drive around with your front number plate in the botom corner of the windscreen on the passenger side as opposed to where it normally lives on the front bumper? I just think the front end looks better without one!

Depends on the copper who stops you or spots you tbh.

But why would u think the front end looks better without one?... it'll have a recess in the front bumper insert which nothing in it :S

  A Flamin' Red one
I should have said... The recess would be filled at some point. I'm not planning on doing it to my Dynamiqe but come the time when I spy a Flamer for sale, I was just wondering...

Don't touch or modify the Flamer if u get one mate. It will look rubbish.

Do it to your dynamique if u really want to do it.

A car "might" look good without a plate but the fact you then have to stick it in the window (which looks shite) surely defeats the whole purpose?!?

  FN2 Type R +MK6 Golf
I like the little ones on the side.Agree though the car may look great but the having a number plate sitting in your window looks gash

I guess it's all in the eye of the beholder. I'm just thinking of things to do differently really :dapprove:

The Celica above does look good.

what would a DC5 with a number plate like that and a smooth front look like?

  Porsche Boxster987S
my mate doesnt have one on his golf and has yet to be pulled over despite it being spotted by the police a few times:S

  MCS R56

Points on your license illeagal or just slap on the wrist dont do it again illeagal?

I reckon if you called pulled over for it and you insisted it had 'fallen off', you would get away with it. Anymore than that then you will probably get a fine. It's not clearly visible behind the window.

If everyone started moving their plates I can guarantee the police would be stopping more people. It's pointless and not worth the risk, is it?
