  RenaultSport clio 172 cup
 ive heard people say on here there car limits at 6400 revs my cup limits at 7400 7500 and 8000 is the max all ways looks like its gonna bounce of the end the rev needle put me straight people wot does urs limit at. shout out to wolves people . had car nearly 2 yrs x reg cup

7.2k should be the stock limit but theres a 50rpm tolerance in it.
if it goes to 8k and the rev counter not broken then its chipped.

Be warned though Renault sport racing say running at 8k on a stock bottom end will kill you engine.

Isn't it dissapointing when people have a car they just don't understand. Makes you feel as if you deserve it more!

You have a Mk1 172 exclusive.

Right, now we've established that you have a Phase 1 Renault Clio Renaultsport 172 and not a Phase 2 Renault Clio Renaultsport 172 Cup I can state with confidence that if your car revs to 8000 rpm then it is most definitely not standard and is probably fitted with an Rsport/Group N ECU.
