Is it ok to mix RONs?

I noramlly fill up with V power however the local shell garage ran out the other day so had to fill up with shell 95 RON.

The light is now on and I need to fill up.

Should I try and run it as low as poss or just mix the two?

You should just drive until you run out completely. I always carry a few cans in the boot just in case I cant get the good stuff.

If you fill the tank with 1 litre pineapple juice, it stops the two different fuels reacting. Should be ok to mix them after that.

You risk combustion if it goes wrong!

all fuels can be mixed! they are pretty much the same anyway. your just loosing a bit of the benifit of a higher RON fuel if you add it to helf a tank of normal stuff, as there will be a mixture of the two. but it wont do any harm to your car

I always throw some diesel in too just to keep the mix if they don't have any high octane petrol - you should try it too
