Is it possible to paint my headlights?

When cleaning my 182 yesterday i noticed that inside my xenons was a grey insert. Is it possible to take off the lens and spray it black? Would look a lot meaner imo!

Did it on my old vectra and made a big difference and i just went around the headlight with a heat gun to soften the silicon and the lense just prised off.

Is this possible to on the clios or can black headlights be bought anyway?

172's have black insert xenons, see if you can find someone after a swap.

and just out of interest is it possible to split the headlights if i fancied a different colour?

Not really on these headlights mate, Other cars you put them in the oven for a bit and split apart the casing, But ive never seen anyone do it to the xenon headlights.

One boy with a purple euro car painted over the lenese to colour code, But thats all ive seen.

I've always thought the grey ones look better for some reason, look good against black IMO.

To the OP, I don't think it's as easy to do it with Renault lights as it is with say Ford for example, although it is possible. There's a good chance you'd end up with them steaming up once they were back together aswell.
