Engine management lights on an limp mode activted!! Reading through everyone elses experiences with this problem, it seems whatever part you replace the symptoms persist. Any advice? Is the clio termanally ill?

Could be the throttle sensor, had it on my 172 cup, £50 done.

Get the codes read, will work out cheaper if they can identify it than chucking money at it guessing.

Check the throttle body cable, mine had this issue, new throttle body did naff all so I made a new link from the ecu straight to the throttle body instead of all round the engine bay. Sorted the problem! And I had the same symptoms as your issues you seem to have. Let me know if this is it!

Did you get to the bottom of this? I am having similar issues. I've ordered a new TB but the old one looks in fairly good condition.
