as some of you may know because of other posts i stripped my rear seats out ready for picking up my new wheels tomorrow, but i like the fact i only have two seats, i dont know why!!!

i liked the attention in traffic today, not sure why because they were all dirty looks, but its out of the ordinary because i have an ordinary car!!!

anyone else done it?permanent or temporary and liked it?!

  Lots of Alfas
I did it once in my old 1.2 when I was delivering. Car did feel a bit nippier and sounded like a van.

yeh, in a way i like the confused looks i get in traffic, might make people think its a 172/182 sleeper!

u got any pictures of your stripped out?
all i have done is take the seat bottoms, seat backsand the bar across the back seats out so far, could tell a difference with the spare and jack out aswell but thats back in now! not sure if it just sounds faster or has made a noticable difference.

has anyone noticed the flappy rubber things on the rear bumper (which u can kinda see from inside the car) which make a hell of a noise on tickover?

maybe its my exhaust but god damn they annoy me when i had the seats out

kinda difficult to explain

they are behind the plastic which is below the boot lid & sorta inside the bumper (so by ur knees inside the car when u open the bootlid)
1 either side.

dont know what they do but ive stopped mine rattling with a bit of tissue paper stuffed in there
