Is my 182 an import?

As title really.... I'd never really given this much thought really, as I had bought it from a dealer. However, when I went to have a test drive of something else the guy wanted to talk figures before he would let me out in it. He actually asked me if it was an import... I said I didnt think so, but he offered me a stupid low price. Obviously I walked away.

I thought no more of it until now, I've just read a post which suggests the imports didnt have cobra alarms or locking wheel nuts. Well mine is a cobra, but it does NOT have locking wheel nuts.

So how could I tell whether it was an import?

most imports didn't have cup spoilers or cup suspension. just phone another dealer and ask them to check on icm. Or pm me the reg number....

I asked the dealer today when i was picking up the 182 after some warranty work and they have it down as not an import, as they said imports usually only have 2 year warrantys instead of 3.

So I guess that answers my question. Seems strange how it doesnt have locking nuts though.

my 172 cup has locking nuts too , not a good example tbh , warrenty reply is the best answer u'll get 2 justify a new car import or not question ?

well my hpi check said it wasnt a inport , the book suggests it is as its not in english, i believe i have the window etchin , and i have some locking wheel nuts mcgaurd i think. but i know i have a clifford alarm , mines a 172 though
