in my 182...

when i start to accelerate and lift the clutch, there seems to be a rattling coming from the car..

(its the same nose that happens when your in too high a gear and the car judders)...

i checked the exhaust and the mounts but its not them...?

It sounds ghey...not the throaty noise a 182 is ment to sound like...

(high milage tho...do i need a belt changed?)

sounds like engine or gearbox mounts though. Mine did it when I lifted off after accelerating hard when i first got the car, fixed itself for me.

i was gonna just leave it but thought i mite wreck the car...

It seems to be the engine or g/box makin the noise..

Ive already had to screw my heat(pishy)shield back on so its deffo not that...

G box mount...oh god...

it seems to be the cat/exhaust....(quite far up) the bit that hangs down vibrating against the pishy renault pish shield...

bet thats a relief. I had exactly the same noise last week and like you it turned out to be something that had unclipped itself.

edit -same post count as me too. lol.

is it not the engine mounts causing movement and the exhaust hitting something?
