Is my outside temp sensor foooked?

As above really.
Do the digits go below 0 ? When it reads 3oc - 0oc the digits flash but if it's colder it still reads 0 but it's go the - sign next to the 0 and the - sign flashes but the 0 doesn't.
On other cars that i have owned with a outside temp reading it would display -1 and so on.

mine was at -2 on the way home from work... however mine does say -0 sometimes though, which is an impossable figure but oh well lol ....

This is the 1st winter i have had the car so i haven't seen t go below 0 but my work mate said thathis was readin -3 this mornin. He has a golf.

If you have a multi-meter you can check the sensor in the wing mirror.
Between 0 and 5 c it should read between 5400 and 6200 ohms.

Mine works OK. When I first got the car I saw minus figures. Only prob is it now says its about 40 degrees outside :S

Yeah... they go below 0. Think the lowest ive seen mine was -8 and to read -0 is normal.
