Still going to out handle the new V6 255(ish)

Has anyone read any tests on these models in a head to head track day?

From what Ive seen in Top gear / Mags I think the new V6 will have the clear edge on the Cup now. Most of the MK2 mods have been biased towards handling. With the extra power, it will also blow the Cup in terms of straight line performance. The V6 has now reached the excellence it deserves?

Well the mk1 V6 was over 2 secs a lap slower than a Cup round Bedford and only just beat a mk2 172 when Evo gathered the various sporty Clios together for the Group test last year, so I should hope that the mk2 is better and should beat the Cup now.

Its a totally different car though, not just a facelift, so by all accounts it will be superb!
