I sold my ph1 3 years ago and now have a Impreza, you'll be fine mate and tbh something like a escort cosworth is something amazing to have turn up to a meet.

IIRC, at the time the 200s came out, many people preferred the non-cup chassis anyway. It was a lot better ride for our roads.

Thanks, so you reckon that is a non Cup ?.....is there a way to tell just by looking rather than the fact it just doesn't mention it ?

A quick search says cup chassis comes with red brembo callipers.

Yeah cup chassis had the red calipers and non cup had silver (?).. doesn’t mean someone can’t paint theirs red however but it’s a quick indicator.

Cup chassis has a firmer ride and apparently the steering is better than non-cup

Thank you people......yes, did a search and came up with the same info on red calipers so that confirms that car as a non Cup. So i've no interest in that as an RS200 without Cup chasis seems to be somewhat missing the point in my view !
Anyway, spent seven hours on the road yesterday (Yawn !) to go and view the Ktec 200 and i wasn't disappointed.....it's in great condition and that's now my favourite colour ! Even with a layer of dust on it she looked gorgeous My first time in one and yes, the interior is a little plastic fantastic lol but actually nowhere near as bad as i thought it was going to be ! Recaro's are great, but then aren't they always.....i did feel i was sat up quite high, i don't know if there is much or any adjustability with them ? i kinda felt i was more sat on the car than sat in it lol. The drive was great and i like the box but then i've always liked all the French gearbox's i've owned. No, it's not particulary fast but then i wasn't expecting it to be.....it's more of a car to get up to speed and then carry that speed.
Aesthetically i thought the wheels were a bit dull, so maybe a change there or maybe just a refurb in shadow chrome to add a bit of interest.....we'll see, anyway, i,ve put a deposit down
