Is this how you solved your problems

  850 T5. mmmm Turbo!
i think many people are like me and have lots of ignition failure lights on,
today i finally took my car in to a garage who have decided that is wasnt the throttle sensor like i had previously been told.

my car was going into limp mode all the time, and the engine management light has been on for weeks.

the garage have decided that theyare going to change the wiring loom, aparently hardwiring the throttle wires in a different way make the senser less sensitive.!!!

anyone else had there done like this???
been quoted £160 for new loom + water sensor.

Noty very useful, but i ahve a mk1, this is a proper car and doens't have a limp home mode, it has a go mode, and a go fast mode, and occasionally an 'i'm gonna be a c**t and flat spot', which is usually cured by a good ragging
