its the box wid the filter in??? is it just a silicer or is it important in the engine.???? i have a filter running from the back to the front is that o0k????

Thats box looks like the filter enclosure. The hole yoyu can see goes onto the throttle body I take it and the big hole on the end of it is where the air is sucking in from the atmosphere?

Im not sure what you want to know. That is important as it ensures all air going to the engine has been filtered. If you take it off dirt can get into the engine and damage it. If you have replaced it with something else which encloses a different filter and ensures all air into the engine is filtered then you will be ok.

its just a warm air duct . it takes warm air from the top of the exhaust manifold into the carb to stop the petrol freezing in the winter .
