never used a machine to polish a car so wouldn't know much...
and this friend is offering this at a ridiculously low price so don't wanna miss out.It beats working by hand eh!?
Are these things any good?
the polish is by MAN ..whatever that company is
well I can get it for like 12 pounds or smth like that :rasp:
it won't damage the paintwork? or will it? :S
don't have a big choice of polishing machines here, otherwise I'd have bought one a long time ago.Just thought it would be good to have this in the garage for a quick polish once in a while.
Not powerfull enough to do any correction. You'l end up buffing the paintwork slightly.. probably creating swirls rather than getting rid of them.
A Silverline polisher can be had on ebay for about £45. Then after pads and polish its about £80.
Ive got a blue one. Its not excellent, But if your carefull and take your time good correction can be done.
Better off spending more money either to get a professional to do it. Or read a few threads on Detailing World, And then spend the money on some propper kit if you intend to use it.
If you just want a bit of shine.. Get some AG Super Resin Polish from Halfrauds.
