Is this normal?

Hi Guys

The car is a RS182, owned a few months but driven very little (perhaps 100 miles or so)

I have noticed that it is sensitive to road camber - on occasion lightly pulling in the direction of camber, is this a normal consequence of the 205 x 16 tyres or what?
I have also felt a bit of grabbing when going over uneven roads - more than I am used to on other (should I say lesser) vehicles.

I do like to be connected to the road through the steering so perhaps I forgot what it's like, I drive other vehicles regulairly too, so perhaps it's me being too sensitive, but would like to get some idea if this is normal behaviour or not.

Incidentally there is no uneven tyre wear and everything seems good with the suspension also hands off braking is good with no pull.

Mines the same also, its a RS 182FF with both cup packs. I think its bushes in my case, I'm not fixing it yet as I can't quite decide whether to harden it up or keep it OEM.

I'd suggest checking the tracking, mine seems much more willing to drive itself along a road now than it did before.

It may be nothing but there's no harm in checking.

mine had what you described but worse, i did the tracking which helped but didn't sort the problem, next step was track rod ends could be worn, mine were fine, next check balljoints again fine, for me it was a complete failure of the rear left shock absorber, had no oil in the thing at all, no idea why this wasn't picked up in an mot, changed both rear shocks and the car was transformed

Thanks for all the advice,
Shocks don't appear to be leaking, but I'll have a check around the suspension again
The 'pull' like into like where a drain is lower seems more pronounced at low speed - makes me think it's on the front end, the cup suspension is quite hard, I'm a bit of a softie nowadays and not driven on hard supsension for many years - .

Mine used to tramline a fair bit, especially whilst putting my foot down to pass traffic. A light set of 15" wheels has made a considerable improvement.
