i bought a 3gs...jail broke and unlocked for VF.

I also got the official o2 unlock kept an eye on the sim in an old phone.

i would quite like to restore it back to factory and run it properly as ive no use for JB phone really....is it like the official unlock would work after i restored it because the only thing is...

i didnt get the "your phone is no unlocked" msg when i plugged it into itunes....probably to do with the jailbreak.

opinions or past experiences...

If it's been officially unlocked then yes it'll be fine.

for anyone else who is in this situation....it worked ok.

and i got the "congratulations you're unlocked" msg upon restore....took a minute but came up no prob.
