Is this right?

  172 Cup
I've just got a used viper induction kit and the air feed was in 2 bits. The instructions were for a model without an air feed and wasn't sure where to stick it so i attached it to the existing one. Is this right, or is it too restrictive?

felt like it wouldn't go on any further up. i'll give it a try tho. just hope it can suck enough air up through the original air feed.

the induction kit wont go any further in. im happy with that it feels secure and i doubt it will fall off. i do however want to get a new longer air feed and pull out the original tubes then hook it up to replace the fog lamp. but i cant see anyway of removing them.

I wouldn't replace the fog lamp. I don't see why people do this, yes you would get a better feed of air but you're doing away with a fog lamp. They are there for a reason, why take it out and put a gaping pipe there. Keep the fog lights and just put the air feed down by the arch/where the original air feed's were.

Alternatively, why not take out your headlight and stick the pipe there. :boring:

defo remove the stock feeds, they come off by a 10mm bolt on the front of the bumper, u wil have to get under the car to see it, then run the viper feen down in the arch, that as it is will resrict it a lot, the stock feeds are pooh

hmm i could take the headlight out and use my fogs as headlights :D i'll have a look ben, i wanna get rid of the orig air feed cos i thought it looked pretty restrictive.
