Just got off the phone to Mark at Ritchspeed and he said that the 172 and Willy front springs are the same.

Are they?

Some one was selling some front -35mm lowering springs on e-bay 2 weeks ago n said in the ad that they fit 16v/willy/172 so not sure matey!!

i would say there not the same+if you buy williams springs youll only get a front set and youll still have to buy some 172 rear springs so you might as well buy the complete 172 set.vice versa-if you are buying for the williams then whats the point buying 172 springs when you dont need the rear ones and theyll probably cost more anyway.

Check the paint marking on the base with a 172 owner whos had theirs lowered?

Williams is usually double white..
