Issue with Adobe Reader 8.1.1 update

I just had an update pop up for Adobe reader.

So i upgraded to Reader + Acrobat 8.1.1

But now when viewing a folder in thumbnails view, with windows it shows each pdf file as an acrobat logo, instead of having a small preview of the actual pdf doc if you understand?

Now this is going to be a pain in the arse if i cant change it as i sometimes need to pick out pdf files from a folder of a hundred or so.

can i change this?

anyone else noticed?

I have no need to upgrade yet, i use 8 on my heidelberg Prinect preee press software, and i have a tool box that you get for £40K lol.

Just updated mine and it still showing thumbnails when browsing folders.

hmm, something has gone wrong somewhere! its not hard to update it either, you just press update lol!!!! strange! oh well, uninstall it is

yup unistall and reinstall never upgraded it always just done fresh installs on new pc's

i just clicked 'repair acrobat installation' and it seems to have worked, not sure if im running the latest update but who cares..
