Have a question, the car is going for mapping next week and i naturally want it mechanically perfect to make things as smooth as possible on the day.
Something has been niggling me, when cranking the car it sounds off balance, please see vid below.

You can hear is speed up and down slightly between cylinders with shut throttle but when you open the throttle it all balances.
See the next video, VAC system removed and manifold fitting taped off air tight.

OLD Vac vs New setup (because i thought the old setup was leaking causing the above problems)
What im thinking is that the 2 cyls are robbing each other of air, should i install 1 way valves in the 6mm lines to stop this? (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/6mm-Push-fit-Pneumatic-ONE-WAY-VALVE-none-return-valve-/230616937243) WIll it affect mapping due to 2 cyls running slightly leaner? Have a missed a trick here?
