I have had a search but couldn't find anything. Has anyone re-routed the air con pipes on a 182/172 so they are not in the way of the trumpets.

Anyone know of a company who are able to modify air conditioning pipes etc.?

if you dont run an airbox you can just bend the pipe very slightly so it goes between 2 trumpets, then fit a k-tec filter

you are able to rotate the large compressor pipe and it will clear the trumpets and filter.

yeah, thats what i have done at the moment. I was planning on tidying it up a bit more, getting the pipe routed out the way and then put a different filter on there.

Know any companys which can do this type of work?

until about a year ago, no-one knew how to keep AC with ITBs at all. you wont find anyone has done what you're asking. AC fittings are a nightmare to get hold of

Ok thank danny, just one more quick question, if i got hold of everything needed e.g cup setup, how long would it take to remove the aircon. (average mechanic speed)
