ITBS on Clio172MKII

Hi,

I want to get some ITBS installed on my clio but there's no company in the Netherlands that can do this and im not that familiar in the UK. Can anyone tell me a good company that can install them on my 172 ?

I found a company called K-Tec but I read K-Tec is crap and is only good at fcking up engines ... is that true ?

Yes I am... Dont know if its true though thats why I asked it... seems to be a solid company but once I read user experiences with the company Im starting to have doubts..

But anyone know any addresses that can install ITBS/camshafts and map the ECU etc ?

Where did you get this information from?, i dont think ive heard or seen a bad review against ktec, i think they are the biggest renault tuning company, correct me if im wrong , so they must be doing something right

Read the reviews on here mate, all positive, like i said there a very reputable company so i wudnt imagine there gonna produce bad workmanship

Is it from the saxperience forum by any chance? if you read through it, all the 24 pages of garbage he does state the top end went which he supplied, so not really ktecs fault

Ignore the s**t you've heard. They'll install you a perfectly working, great sounding and reliable ITB kit and map it in a day. You won't be disappointed.

Yes I read that but 4 times heh ;P I will look for some user experiences on this forum too .. Have you had any experiences with k-tec ?? Do you know any company that can install ITBS on my clio ?

Ive only purchased things from them, but alot of people have had work done from themselves, like i said and what DMS said there an excellent tuner and all the reviews on here back it up, ignore the idiots on saxperience, people will be shocked to hear you saying there a crap firm

Well I picked my car up from ktec last fri after having their ITB kit and am impressed with the kit and how i was treated.

I have just had a quick look through the thread on the other Saxo site and I must say that there is alot of information that seems to have been conveniently left out. I am at a bit of a loss to know how some of these guys come to the conclusions they post.

Henk, contact Henk at Veban Rijswijk (Renault specialist). He is the one who installed my cams etc. He has been doing Renault for a good 20+ years and is a good friend of Henk Fastchip so the mapping will also be taken care of.
Veban is also a K-tec dealer in Holland so you could order through him?
