ITB's

  Clio 16v
what sort of gains do you get on a 2.0 and how much can they cost to buy and have fitted? do they give significant gains, and also quicken acceleration?

  B/G 182 + PH1 Track
We have seen about a 40BHP top end figure increase over a standar car, but its mainly the torque and how the car drives thats worth the money (and the noise)

http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?t=364943

Follow the build through there. But theres still more power to be had with a better set of cams. We bought ours second hand and did the work ourselves so was cheaper than buying new, GDI or Ktec do kits and charge fitting check there sites.

oh and bazzon wouldnt know where to start ;)

  Focus RS Mk1
£2800 ish not fitted. inc VAT. fitting on top maybe around £400-500.

pretty much garunteed 200bhp @ flywheel. a very capable car in anyway you look at it.

  E39 M5 & Corsa track
for inlet, bodies, air horns, fuel rail, linkage and bracket and TPS RRP is £1288.57inc vat IIRC

then you need management, depends what you want to spend on the management side of things, plenty of options

  Golf GTD Mk7
They do look sweet has to be said. Might sound stupid, but doesn't dirt get into the engine with the absence of a filter or am i just being blonde?

fully inclusive of all parts you need, including the Omex 600 ECU and clio specific race-loom, with a fitting manual.

ITB's are well worth it! Make the car pull so much better and the sound is so sexual!!! I'm so happy I had the conversion done!!!

How much would fitting be? Are there any extra costs if you wanted to keep aircon? Would you need bonnet pins? So tempted to either get ITB's or the SC, any idea how much the SC package will be? Is there anything else you lose apart from the ESP?

didnt 'french cars' magazine have a thread on their own 182? or something like that? that got bonnet pins etc done with the ITB conversion, i think they even cut away the plastic next to where the bonnet catch used to be!

no extra costs for keeping the aircon, the kit is designed to work around it. yes you do need bonnet pins as the metal slam panel has to go.
still no costs on supercharger at the moment im afraid, busy building new workshops so sc has taken a back seat for a couple weeks. specs and prices will be available as soon as we know :D

can you not keep the slam panel with the smaller radiator option???

  Clio 16v
seems reasonable though dont it? as youve got four wacking great trombones in the front of the engine lol

of course it does, it just i have seen conversions with that keep the slam panel so just asked if the smaller rad was the key. guess they must have used smaller trumpets....

how does the slam panel affect rigidity/crash protection - if at all?

you can run the shorter trumpets if you really like. however it completely kills the torque curve compared to the 90 or 120mm ones. slam panel really doesn't do a great deal other than hold the bonnet catch in place. imo the only way to do it right is to remove the slam panel and run the longest air horns you can. the rad is only necessary if you want to run a large air filter rather than the individial air socks.

you can run 90mm trumpets with enclosed filter with a standard radiator.
