itg maxogen air feed

just got a itg maxogen ,so have ripped out the old airbox and the ducting. not sure if i should run a cold air feed too it or just leave it with part of the old air feed with a gap or just have the trumpet part in front of the battery housing.

I have a caf running from my lower grill up towards the trumpet of the maxogen, don't know if it serves any purpose or not TBH but I like it lol

Theres different opinions on this subject, some say having a CAF restricts some of the the air flow, other say it helps, i think its just down to personal preference.
