They're meant to be excellent quality mate and extremely well designed but i think a lot will tell you on here they're an awful lot of money for what they are and what little performance gains they give. You'd be much better off getting your inlet matched and then getting your cup remapped for gains

I had one mate and they are excellent quality, not so sure if i would buy one brand new from K-tec again spending all that money. But they are by far the best induction kit i had.....and sound so much smoother when in the car.

Well money is no object when it comes to my clio (well to a certain extent) and im going to k tec in a couple of months to got 182 manifold, cat and get group n ecu. just wanna know what you lot think of them that got one. Anyway hows the prospeed????

Thats what i was like with mine, so if thats the case theres no question other than the ITG.

Excellent bits of kit. Love mine! Easy to fit compared to the vipers and BMC rubbish! Geniune power increase, You kind of lose the 5k kick tho!

I got one in mine. Definate gains, and the sound is truely awesome.
Is it worth 400? not at the moment, but once my inlets are done and ive remapped i think it will all come together.

As for your trip to k-tec, cut the remap... see BenR to get ure inlets done and then go RS tuning for a good map.

Wish i had a grand to splash on 182 manifold. I got a grand of repairs instead :dapprove:

Sound is no where near as nice as my old Viper. I got a roar off the viper, the Maxogen is quiet

Gains are roughly the same too although i had a really good cold air feed set up on the Viper and had both IK's mapped after fitting unlike a lot of folk who fit Vipers.

The quality of the Maxogen kit is superb however. They also hold their value

Is it worth it?? Well you know youve done the best you can in the induction side of modding when youve fitted one so yes

basically they are great but very expensive, i would say if your going to do the basic mods such as matched inlets, zoust, decat, ecu, etc they are the dogs danglers but if its the only mod your going to do you wont see much gain if any. with the above mods though its a must & a brilliant bit of kit!!!

vipers are cheap pish that let in dust/grit........ i was shocked to see the crap that was left in my inlet elbow......
