Itunes to MP3 on a CD?????

I've just found out i can play MP3's in my car so tried to put alllllllll my tunes on a few CDs. Fooking itunes tells my most are protected and only lets me turn about 40 songs out of abut 500 into MP3s.

Anyone know any software (free cos i'm a skinflint) that un-protects them?

played with google , download.com etc etc and can only find demos whivh will only let me do 3 before paying some money.

none, however apple are going to remove the protection from songs downloaded from itunes in a month or to so you can play them on what you what in the future

I have always been able to put itunes purchased songs on cd. Are you doing it through itunes or different program?
