Normal servicing is done ever 12k or 2 yrs there is a 1 month/1k tolerance so you can have it done up to 25month or 13k before any warranty implications. Beyond this time/warranty period you maybe asked by Renault for a % payment from yourself for warranty work depending upon how much later you had the service done. However they can only really ask if having the service done at the right time would have spotted the issue. The servicing period used to be 12k/1 yr some dealers haven’t changed there stickers or aware of the new rule which applied to the Renault Sort cars now

Brown.

just say you were told it was an 18k by the salesperson, mine is on a 18k, but i get it done by a local scumbag every 10k

I would check with them first as no point paying for Renault service if they void your warranty cause its over 1k, not saying they will but they could be arsy

  Shhh
Look in autotrader for them people that put the car speedo's back...

Get it done, take it in, and get it reveresed.. :) (of course..)

Think its about £85 per car..

Now, on the meantime..

2x 12,000miles services
1x 36,000mile service

to be honest most dealers are quite relaxed, I was reliabley told Arnold Clark will still do warranty work if a service has been missed.

Nope they won't try gettig them to do it.

They have to cliam the money back from Renault UK when Renault question why they arn't supplying prooff of full service history if your car needed a new engine then since they cannot provide one Renault UK won't pay the dealership for the work/engine etc they have to accept the cost.

well im to work now finish at 3pm then im of to the garage to boook the 182 in....not gonna say nowt just go with the flow! lol, see what happens!

I got told by the dappy receptionist that my car didnt need servicing until 18k when i booked it in for its 12k. You'll find that it's pretty common that dealers service receptionists have no clue what the service intervals are.

I bought my 182 from renault 7 months old with 14k on clock, had just been serviced by them at 14k when the prev owner traded it in. They even provided me with 4 months extra warranty over the original to cover anything that may need doing after its first MOT.

R-Sport in wimbledon are excellent for any clio and they resolved a minor warranty issue with no questions and it kept the FRSH. Not bad £185 for 24k.

i was going to say if they asked why it was over the mileage to tell them that you had to go to the other end of the country and back a couple of times scince you booked it in but just relised you live on the isle of man so thats no good

Thats not acceptable though its your job to maintain the servicing not Renualts.

  Shhh
Limit is clearly 1,000miles over...

Then its up to you too ensure you get it booked in within the allocated mileage slot. 1,000miles is not exactly 1 weeks worth of driving, and the service takes no less than 2hrs i guess..
