I was miss sold them and turned out the center bore was too small by 2mm so I bought spacers as a temporary fix, spacers mean longer bolts and longer bolts means studs and nuts ;P

Due to an upset friend in Manchester I put the clio and myself to the test again... Haverhill to Manchester and back without a Satnav in 14 hours before work!... Journey was POO! I went to go to my car to set off and I find some b*****d had pierced my passenger wheel! So 2 new tyres on the front and I'm off... First I missed the M1 so couldn't get on the M6 so went on various roads to sheffield, through the city center, through the national park district and into the city center of Manchester when all I wanted to do was to get into pars wood! Up there for 4 hours of being a top lad the journey back started, 5 minutes after leaving I went to get petrol as I used up most of it getting lost earlier on in the day, went to BP and filled up with the usual super unleaded £50's worth to see me home... Card declined at 1:30am in the morning... brilliant, turns out my previous insurance company automatically renewed my insurance at midnight and took out £1,700! which left me with £30 in the account! After a scavenge though the car for change I needed £3.74... So I sold my body... Literally sold my body... I kid you not, the Asian man in the petrol station gave me £1 per word for every word I got right on my own Arabic tattoo... Unfortunately I don't have the Arabic bible tattooed onto me or I would be a millionaire. Problem solved! Home time! Finally!!! (by the way only going home again for work in the morning at this point its about 6 hours till work) - I set off, get on the m6, non toll, down the M1... I'm a king.... But noooo, forgot to turn off onto the M11 and boom I'm in wellington near santa pod... So ventured though the back roads guessing towns I reconised and then back home for 5:30am. But the story continues... For now photo of the peak district.

Now... after a hours sleep it's time to wake up and go to work, I'm up for once! Little bit early if anything and its a miricle... Hop in the car and start when something sounds and feels funny... Its the engine... Lol no its not... Its the tyre, again, in the 2 hours I was in Haverhill my valve had been cut with some sort of blade
544878_10150973339870407_640010406_11991187_1653266029_n.jpg

I called up work and told them I am not coming in for the pathetic 4 hour shift that costs me a hours pay in petrol to get there when my tyre has been vandalized twice in 2 days and a day of driving!..

I didn't fix it that day, I sulked and spent the rest of the day in bed wishing I stayed in Manchester! The day after I got a new valve fitted and things were good again, fitted a new exhaust to a friends Zafira, fitted my new wind deflectors and dash inserts and happy happy happy... Even agreed to take a friend to work in the morning down in Harlow on my day off...

In the morning - Jamie (said passenger) says, 'Jake, whats that noise' - I reply dunno but I am getting some wheel wobble now... Dropped him off at work, carefully inspected the car and assumed tracking was fucked but risked the drive home carefully... Going down the m11 I see something fly off my car and down the road... I pull over to investigate this!!!

Some mothertrucker has undone the studs in my wheel! But on the passenger side and none of the others... So setting up CCTV... Although I have already Identified the car, just need to find the owner.

Finally all the problems have stopped now that my car is on the gravel drive which is a lot harder to be stealthy around! So I have the time and money to put else where! - Now its preparation for a trip to the Ring on the 28th September and a evening at Snetterton in August.

A shorter throw with a pool ball!

I need some rails and spacers though as I can't see over the steering wheel =L Lovely seats though, so comfortable and all the B*TCHES want a seat ;) lol

  A'Booo 172
Oh and there is a roll cage in the post too and possibly new wheels wrapped in my Yokohama A048's semi slicks that are sitting in the garage =)

Quick question... Is my car to low for the ring? Non-Clio friend claim my car is too low, this is the ride height:
181326_10150994604135407_1640179997_n.jpg

Its about 4-5 inches off the ground

  A'Booo 172
I ca vouch for that, it's pretty rubbish, if anything its just more weight in the car, hopefully with a whiteline arb I can pretend it's playing it's part up top!

  Rs200

Ahahaha, That made me laugh!! Nothings happened recently with them so for now things are good...

Photos of the car... It's now raised up higher and I have put a set of semi-slicks on to get a feel of what they are like before I start using them at snetterton next month and the ring after that!

I'm guessing this isn't supercharged yet then? You said to expect something on here day after CSS as it would be up running and ready!

Indeed I did, Bracket has been made up now and is sitting at my friends barn, I will most likely collect it tomorrow, fit it next week when I have a week off so I don't need to take it back and forth to work bodged, rather have it all working properly and tested without rushing - Remap is booked in too so will all be done before August 30th Snetterton Track day if you're man enough for it... Everything else is plumbed in and ready now -

574487_10151194601065407_1530303946_n.jpg

Just some tiding up to do with the cables as it looks a mess and a bracket made up for the ecu (or I could buy one)

Calm down princess

Looking good Jakeyy :)

Man enough to do it? Are you trying to start being a dick head here?

I've got a lot more track experience than you young one. I'd love to be there and show you how to drive, but unfortunately I have a very busy business that is currently flat out.

Enough with the attitude. Little man syndrome doesn't do you any favours

It's ok though, we won't shed a tear over your absence

  A'Booo 172
Whoa, just trying to have a cheeky laugh to get you to come... That's fine if you don't want to, no need to get all sensitive on me

  182, SQ7, Trafic
Attitude? I was just asking as was intrigued as Jake was very persistent that the car would be finished the next day.

With the rest of the thread I thought he would of been bouncing off the forum walls getting progress up on here.

Attitude is asking if I was man enough to do a Trackday, I was doing Trackdays before Jake even had a licence!

  A'Booo 172
I'm not one for drama, lets not have it on my progress thread after all it isn't a good read, (although to add a note to your comment, have you not slated me for fitting a eaton super charger before I had even said my first word to you?.. As for the next day comment, yes I said it would be fitted the next day, however I got let down by a friend (tony is his name) who was manufacturing a bracket, it was not until last night that he did)

If you have some comments about improving my setup without putting a hinder on me or my car, I would be more incline to read it and take your advice onboard.

Sorry for anything I might have said to anger you?

  trophy #50
You put yourself accross in an aggressive manner.

Don't act like your better than jake.
If its not intentional then I'd seriously rethink the way you talk to people

  182, SQ7, Trafic
Lol a lot of brown nosing going on in here. I didn't come across angry in anyway.

I have no doubt that the Eaton wouldn't fit, it's the running of the Eaton that "shouldn't" work. We've spoke to a couple of big companies who have said bad things can happen.

I did comment before speaking to you yes because I had spoken to people about it before, your not the first to think of this, just the first to try it which is commendable.

I believe I gave you one piece of excellent advice which was to fit the Megane F4RT crank sprocket which is keywayed. A roots/twin screw charger will be a massive strain on the crank compared to a centrifugal charger and they can cause slippage, let alone what more stress will do. I really do hope you fitted it for the sake of £35 when you had the Cambelt done.

I know I added that bit in to see who would go for that or the actual sound advice I gave ;)
