James Bond Exhibition - London Film Museum.

-J-

Car  RS2'ed 172 Cup
So myself and Stunty had spotted that there was a James Bond Exhibition on at Covent Garden London Film Museum that may be worth a look.

We weren't disappointed, was very good (although I'm a massive bond film fan)

Few photos worth sharing:

It was very good, the Rolls Royce Odd Job drove as the Chauffeur was Mint.

The Silver Rolls was taxed as well!

It looks like they moved the vehicles from the Beaulieu display, which is now finished, and added some extra props. I am gutted that Beaulieu have ended the Bond exhibit it was easily worth the entry fee. Looks like a good exhibit though as there are some extra pieces there that I haven't seen before.

They didn't have the points system back in the 80's,
pretty sure they introduced them in the late 90's.

Although at the rate i'm being proved wrong on things tonight,
i'm probably wrong about that too.

Driving with no insurance, which is odd, surely MI5 insure him to drive anything in case he has to commandeer a random car

Maybe they refused to insure him due to the state he kept returning cars in?

Can't you imagine the insurance risk James Bond would impose on your 'company insurance' lol

Unless it's a fake license with an endorsement on it to make it look more 'normal'?

I mean it's fake anyway of course, but you get the jist.

As the others have mentioned, it's the BMW Z8 used in the film 'The World Is Not Enough'.

Stunning very rare car, I've only ever seen one on the road owned by a neighbour of mine a few years ago, doubt you could pick one up for <100k now days.

Awesome car, always liked them, although you can get an SLK 55 AMG for a third of the price which is more powerful and sounds better. If the two could be combined into one car you'd probably have the world's best roadster.

I can get a clio 172 for 1/25th of the price of a MK1 escort RS2k, I know what I'd rather have ;)

But yes, expensive, that said it's getting on a few years old now, uber rare and was sold in very low numbers, compared to the SLK.
