just a really quick question re. janspeed de-cats.

could someone tell me if they are the same for ph 1 and ph 2 172's.

if so then all good - if not could you tell me how you would know the difference.


sorry if this has been answered before but need to get a de-cat asap as my car is going in the garage and just wanted to check.

The decats for the Mk1 and Mk2 are different. We carry these in stock if it helps.

Different indeed - see pic

The Mk1 172 is shorter and has 1 hole for a lambda sensor, the mk2 172 is the longer one and has 2 sensor holes.

My Mk1 172 has 2 lambda sensors but is not the same length as the mk2 one - go figure!
