JC or JB Gearbox?

How Do I know if my gear box is a JC or JB?, how about the clutch??

I want to replace the clutch for a "racing type" and I was asked for the "size" (200 m.m. ?) and type of gearbox....don't have a clue!!

Do you recomend the "Quick Shift" shortened gear linkage? http://www.dp-automotive.hu/dpa_developments.html#q4

symbol is clio right? so it wpould be a JC?

yanoo quickshift is the best there is, get the gearstick too, it makes for a very positive shift without any play!

Yes, Symbol is a Clio 1.6, 16V....how Do I make sure about the gearbox??

1.6 16v K4M will be a JB3 if its the same as what we have over here.

JC5 is the 172/182/dci80 box

1.6 16v K4M will be a JB3 if its the same as what we have over here.

JC5 is the 172/182/dci80 box

Well my gearbox is a JB1 and the car has a K4M Engine. Better bet is to jack up the front, go under the car and check. Or your dealer should have this.

Is there an ID plate or something?, How do I ID the type of gearbox?....
