They do nothing.

Just get solid engine mounts.

Re: JDM Y0 - My new project - Spoon goodness PG5

When I first had an N1 it was mated to unsilenced supersprint pipe, it was stupidly loud. Not as bad with a Spoon b-pipe but still a little too loud for me, sold it a month or so after I bought.

I recognise your car from CTRO.

Does this make much of a difference as after 3 days of use of my EP3 it’s the best box i have ever used . Amazing

They replace the standard rubber bushes under the gear stick and at the end of the linkages. Not bad for £26 really.

Lovely civic though :)

If its done over 60/70k then it's worth getting them as the standard rubber is sometimes abit soft

My friends also got a spoon on his, very loud considering it's just a backbox but they sound good! He's also fitting a spoon b-pipe soon so it's going to be wild!!!

Re: JDM Y0 - My new project - Spoon goodness PG5

Thats what my mates sounds like, even though its a different engine etc, so loud!

I was looking at it the weekend, really well made too. Your civics looking so nice now.

New b pipe is on the cards as well. Holding out for a spoon as at least its silenced :)

Yeh it looks alot better with the n1 on, just needs a clean now :)

Re: JDM Y0 - My new project - Spoon goodness PG6 - now fitted

So on my way to a mates house last night ready for a night out in chester, a nice Land Rover discovery decides it loves my paint work, which results in this -

I was abit pissed off at first, but it cant be helped and no point in dwelling on it.

Took a trip to a body shop this morning to get a quote to get it fixed, also having both wings smoothed to remove the side repeaters to take it bad to O/E looks wise.

Booked in for next sunday, will take about 4 days to do as the whole drivers side will be sprayed, and then the wing and blown into the door maybe the rear quater on the passenger side when they smooth the repeater depending on the colour match.

Happy with where its going as they are all Honda nuts, and the guy loved the JDM :)

Re: JDM Y0 - My new project - Land Rover 1 - JDM 0, PG6!!!!

Nasty scrape that mate! Are you/they paying for it to be repaired or insurance?

Re: JDM Y0 - My new project - Land Rover 1 - JDM 0, PG6!!!!

Ive just got the get the quote, the guy will be paying for the damage.

Decided not to go through insurance. His car had a smashed indicator and small cracked bumper!! Bloody 2.5tonne thing!

Re: JDM Y0 - My new project - Land Rover 1 - JDM 0, PG6!!!!

How the hell did he manage that?

Fair play for him for paying.

Re: JDM Y0 - My new project - Land Rover 1 - JDM 0, PG6!!!!

On the quote, are the doing a skin or a full door??

If its a skin, it WILL rust within 12 months so make sure you get a complete door.
