Jet Wash

Would you guys recomend using a jet wash at a supermarket or garage or not, i mean its quick easy and can give good results but does it damage the car, would i be better investing in some home cleaning products?

As long as you don't use the brush you will be fine! Detergents in them can be quite harsh on waxes/sealants, ones with spot free rinses are handy though.

:hail: As the man of the MF cloth says ^^

I find that most spot-free rinses only "wet" the car, they dont actually clean anything off other than loose dirt.

Won't quite get the results of a good foaming wash then rinse at home.

i.e. the car would look nice and clean until the water dried off, then you will see the dust & road film still left behind.

I always carry a bucket and my wool mit in the boot.

Fill the bucket with nice foamy water using the metal nozzel jet thing and use the wool mit to clean, make sure you push down hard when filling the bucket otherwise the it will fly all over the place covering you in foam.
