Got to work this morning and my boss was playing around with something called Joost. It's an online TV service which is made by the founders of Skype.

I got into the beta program (which was invite only) at quite an early stage a few months ago and I wasn't impressed at all. But after seeing it on my bosses PC this morning I went and installed it again and oh my, it's brilliant!!

Unlike YouTube, big TV companies are actually supporting this and are giving Joost the rights to play their material, even to the UK audience where in the past the Americans got the decent content and us Brits were left with a small majority of what they got.

I guess its a good solution if you don't want to pay for a TV license.
