juddering cluth?

when starting off in first my car sometimes makes like a heavy vibrating noise unless you press more on the throttle. worst description ever there! but maybe someone body knows what i mean. goin through the gears is fine, so im thinking its just a matter of learning to give it more, without granny revving?

anyone else noticed this?

i know what u mean my yaris used 2 do this. its just the clutch slipping a bit nothing major

exactly the same!

ive heard juddering on pull off usually means your clutch is on its way out. I get it now and considering my car has gone through 2 previous owners and is 7 years old i wont be suprised if it needs doing. Mines only done 45k miles tho

I do test the clutch sometimes to see if it needs doing:
Get it to 30ph and put it in 5th. floor it. if the revs fly ure clutch has gone.

interesting one that, i know for a fact the revs dont fly when i do that so must just be one of those things!

was 20, with 1 yrs ncb, goin with quinn i got it for 1600 ish. that was 2 months into a policy on a 1.2

right thats not too bad so hopefully i can own a ph-quick when im a bit older and then move on 2 a ph2 later

had the same sort of problem with my 1.2 16v turned out to be the throttle body!
