Juddering! HELP!

Im getting a juddering sound when im taking off (just after getting the biting point).I have to give the car so much gas just to get it off.

Does any one know why this is happening?

Any comments,suggestions appreciated.

Is the clutch slipping?

No cant be anything to do with the clutch.I had a new one fitted 4 months ago.

Why did you have the clutch replaced was it just worn out or did it fail ?

What happened was that my gearbox had a few problems so I had that changed and the mechanic I went to at that time said you might as well change the clutch at the same time.

Ive booked an inpection at renault hopefully they can find something wrong with the car.

Does anyone know of any decent mechanics in london area?

Same thing happened to my clio. Turned out to be the coil pack. There have been a lot of issues with juddering in clios as far as I can see on the internet, have a look at the other threads before you have anything costly carried out on the car!

Problem Found.....

Renault told me that there is wrong oil in my gearbox

Theres knocking coming from the gearbox

Do I need a new gearbox?

who put the wrong oil in your Gbox? get them to buy you a new box! not that your likely to need one

Guys I need a new gearbox.

The diff is making some sort of noise with relation to my cars diagnosis.

Can anyone recommend a suitable solution?

Chnage the oil in the box first before looking at a new box IMo.
