Jumping out of gear!

  182cup/D40/Hornet
Noticed on couple of occasions jumping out of 1st gear when flooring it hard,seems to be when it's struggling for grip.Had a 205 mi16 which used to do the same,so is this because the wheels are spinning=engine is jumping on the mounts knocking it out of gear?
Makes no difference whether traction is on or not.
Tried accelerating more sensibly up to about 6500/7000 and letting off and it stays in gear.
Or is there a problem?
Back to Renault?
Possibly Paranoid?:)

Happened to me a couple of times, last Friday in fact. Reversed off the drive and started to go fowards, slightly high revs (roads were wet) traction was off ;) and came out of gear. Put it back in 1st and all was well.

Possibly abit paranoid then,just don't want the warranty to run out and find out I've killed 1st,you know what I mean.Had a Ren 5 monaco(1.7) a good few years ago and lost 2nd and 4th(wheelspinning antics)young and foolish,had to put a different box in:(.
Not as bad now though...Honest!
Traction off.....I like;)

It was funny becaused when I first had the car from new the dealer never mention the ESP switch. So I thought by switching it (light on) the traction was active, but as you know it's the other way around! ha ha

^^Dunno,surely not at 8k and like I say I can take it up to 6-7k rpm then let my foot off pedal and it stays in(don't know if it would anyway with mount fucked)but I'll have a look at w/end.
Only has jumped out when its getting caned and spinning(when it starts knocking/banging)

  1.6 Astra ... R.I.P. 182
yeah mine does it too.
think its just normal as theres little grip and the wheels are trying their best to grip so it vibrates it out i think ?!

^^That's what I was thinking,I mean the engine has got to be jumping around on the mounts abit.
But the few times it has done it I always think the gear change isn't as good/feels looser or doesn't feel right.
I keep telling myself......it's all in my head!!!;).

When you lost 2nd and 4th in your Monaco, had you recently had a clutch change?
Nah mate but it needed one when I took the box out,fitted a 5 Turbo box into it seemed alot quicker off the mark and through the gears with this box in.Got it on video when I was 'showing off' and losing 2nd.
Don't know if I can get it up on here though

Turbo box was better,the only thing was.....
Monaco=Cable Speedo
Turbo=Electronic
Didn't realise till I had the box in,had to change clocks/cable(as it was a sender unit)Rev counter never worked properly,tbh can't remember if it had one on originally,had the monaco 12-13 year ago.I know I had a problem with the new clutch kit the first one my mate got didn't work so had the box in and out twice!
