June Photography Competition

For this month Dan picked the following theme:

MOTION/MOVEMENT - NO CARS/MOTORBIKES/MOTORSPORT s**t!

Entries close last day of June.

Rules:​

- Post a maximum of 3 images at one time, you can come back with more pics if you have tried something different, but please stick to 3 pics max each time.​

- You must flag one image as your entry, feel free to repost your chosen image towards the end of the comp with 'entry' above it, this will be placed into a new thread at the end of the alloted time for people to vote on. Only images with entry clearly written above or below it will be accepted.​

- Try to keep posted images to a max of around 800px wide.​

- No rules on photoshop use etc, but this is first and foremost a photography contest, not a photoshop contest.​

- All images entered must be taken within the dates of the competition specified above.​

- If you haven't followed the above rules don't come moaning when your picture isn't in the voting thread.​

The Winner will chose the next subject for July, and will also receive a bag of haribo ​

Maybe to force a bit more creativity, any shots with cars are not allowed? I can just see every other entry being a shot of car being panned lol.

EDIT: and also no-one can accuse me of rigging (pun intended ) the comp :rasp:

Ok then - a rule of this theme, entries of a car are not allowed.

This rule is trying to prevent loads of photos of a panned car or similar.

Take it with a pinch of salt though, as for example, a light trail shot of a motorway etc would be ok, because that's being creative.

How does that sound?

I'm keen on getting a bit creative and not going anywhere near any kind of transportation - seems like that would be the easy thing to go for and would probably get about 15 light trail shots otherwise?

Cheers!! Girlfriend is only getting back onto her horses after her accident, so she's not doing that much jumping atm. I'll have to drop along to one of her shows one weekend to try and get another shot. (that one was done in one of her fields)

No it can be transportation, we just don't want the usual cliché panning shots of a racing car/bike you would normally get.
